Partnering with the Ultimate Space Company
Rubix VT has partnered with The Ultimate Space Company, a provider of innovative home workspace within the UK. The agreement will provide IT and telecom connections to HEX garden offices, allowing those working from home a professional office environment in their own back garden.
This partnership marks Rubix VT’s first foray into the home workspace industry and is a natural progression for the company following the pandemic, which already provides connectivity to businesses of all sizes across the South East.
The HEX Garden Offices
Created from the difficulties the owners faced working from home during the pandemic, the HEX garden offices are the ideal solution for those working from home; a fully-connected, portable office space for one’s garden. Designed by Astheimer, the offices are small on the outside; remarkably big on the inside and fitted with a sky light to create a naturally light workspace. Fully insulated, with no ongoing maintenance, the office comes complete with a fully adjustable desk, shelves and led lights. With no planning permission or groundworks required, the HEX pods create a perfectly hybrid space for work and play.
How we are providing services
Rubix VT partnerered with the Ultimate Space company to provide the IT and telecoms services for the HEX Pods, allowing them to have fast and reliable internet access within the pods. The HEX is connected to power via a waterproof 240v inbuilt consumer unit which includes a Rubix VT wireless router, allowing the user to seamlessly connect to their own broadband by a point-to-point or hard-wired connection.
In addition, should the users home broadband fail, Rubix VT have ensured the HEX can still operate on it’s own independent 5G internet connection, allowing the user to remain connected at all times. As a result, the connectivity of the HEX pods is incredibly reliable, ensuring the user doesn’t have any down time resulting in missed calls.
